A blank card featuring an illustration of some of the Cumbrian Lake District's most iconic landmarks.
Great as a card for any Cumbrian, or as a card for someone who loves the Lake District. It could also make a lovely wedding card - or a momento to mark a new home perhaps.
This illustration was drawn using pen and ink, by hand, and has then been digitally manipulated to come up with the final image. It features Skiddaw, Derwentwater, the Windermere Launch, Wordsworth's Dove Cottage, the Grasmere Gingerbread Shop, Bridge House at Ambleside, Beatrix Potter's Hilltop Farm, Keswick Pencil Museum, Moot Hall and the Castlerigg Stone Circle. There's also a little Herdwick sheep, some little sailing boats, the Bassenthwaite ospreys and a little paraglider.
I grew up in Cumbria and went to school in Keswick, so this has been a lovely project to complete - and it feels very close to my heart!
