Berlin Skyline Landmarks Art Print - can be personalised
A black and white print of my illustration of the most famous contemporary and classic landmarks in Berlin.
Great as a gift for anyone who loves Berlin, Germany. It could also make a lovely wedding, engagement or graduation gift, and can even be personalised with names and a date.
The illustration was drawn using pen and ink, by hand, and has then been digitally manipulated to come up with the final image. It features the Berlin Cathedral, Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, Markhalle Neun, the Neues Museum, a little snippet of the East Side Gallery, a tiny part of the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, the Fernsehturm TV Tower, Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church (the "Broken Tooth Church"), the Siegessäule Victory Statue, and finished off with some smaller details - Käthe Kollwitz's "Mother with her Dead Son" statue, two little "stolperstein" stumbling blocks and a set of road crossing lights.
I visited Berlin for the first time in March 2017, after wanting to go there for years and years. It was amazing, and I will definitely be visiting again in the future - what an amazing city!
The standard print is approx 210mm x 300mm and fits into any off the shelf A4 sized frame.
The large print is approx 300mm x 420mm and will fit into an A3 frame.
You can opt to add a line of text to the bottom left of the image if required (making a wonderful personal housewarming, wedding, engagement or leaving gift).
It's printed digitally onto high quality archival paper which will not fade or discolour. It will arrive unframed, in a hardbacked envelope (large prints will be rolled in a tube).
Also available as a card or as wedding or party invites.
Frames are as follows:
Black and white frames are made from polcore; they are both 1.9cm wide and 3.2cm deep - the outer dimensions are 32.5cm x 24cm - that's around 13" x 9.5". Black has a slight wood effect texture; white frames have a smooth finish.
Solid oak frames are 2cm wide and 1.3cm deep - total size is approx 33cm x 24cm (around 13" x 9.5").
The frames are glazed with a quality styrene/acrylic which is not distinguishable from glass when on the wall. It's a safety conscious option, and it greatly reduces the chance of postal breakages.
